

ARTICLE II: MEMBERSHIP
3. FULL MEMBER: to qualify as a full member the applicant must meet the following requirements:
(a) The applicant must be employed by an accredited police organization, or by an agency, organization or institution of a duly constituted government, which has as one of its purposes the support of law enforcement; AND
(b) The applicant shall be employed as a violent crime analyst
4. ASSOCIATE MEMBER: to qualify as an associate member the applicant must meet the following requirements:
1. (a) Upon retirement or transfer from employment as a violent crime analyst, a full member in good standing may elect to become an associate member; OR
(b) any person who, at one time, was employed in the analysis of ViCLAS reportable offences while employed by an accredited police organization, or by an agency, organization or institution of a duly constituted government, which has as its purpose the support of law enforcement is now employed in the private sector and is still involved in the analysis of ViCLAS reportable offences. OR
(c) The applicant shall be employed as a police investigator who specializes in the investigation of one or more of the following types of offences: homicide, sex crimes, sexualy motivated offence throught eletronic mediums, and child porn distribution and/or trafficking
Annual (calendar year) membership dues are $50.00 (CDN) for full or associate members
(payable January 1)
