Guiding principles under which CAVCA operates:

• All members of the Association shall be guided by the following principles in all matters related to the Association:

• Each member shall consider every other member of the Association his or her equal;

• Each member shall make all reasonable efforts to reach decisions by consensus;

• Each member shall cooperate with all other members of the Association in all efforts to meet the objectives of the Association or in carrying out the business of the Association;

• No member shall discriminate against another person on the basis of sex, age, marital status, disability, race, ethnic background, religion, political beliefs, nation of origin, or sexual orientation;

• The objects of the Association shall be carried out without purpose of gain for its members and any profits or other accretions to the Association shall be used for promoting its objects.
